Comment on important kennel lines in the

Clayton's sire is Ch. Countryview Golden Starr, "Zack."
Zack was the Number 1 ranked Collie in 1993. Behind
Zack are the bloodlines of Tartanside and Starr Collies.
Clayton's dam is Ch. Row-Bar's Southern Exposure CD,
"Monique." Monique was the Number 1 ranked Collie
in 1994, and her Grandmother was the three-time, top-ten
ranked Ch. Row-Bar's Best O'My Love CD. Behind Monique
are the bloodlines of Row-Bar, Foxbrides, and Cinderella
Collies. Clayton's grandsire on his sire's side is
the great rough sire, Ch. Tartanside Th' Critics Choice
ROM. Clayton's grandsire on his dam's side is the
great smooth sire, Ch. Foxbride's McLaughlan ROM.
What qualities and virtues have been contributed
by key dogs in the stud's pedigree. Comment on important
breedings in the stud dog's pedigree.
Clayton's pedigree is filled with CCA winners, CCA
Award of Merit winners, top-ten dogs, and dogs that
are included in the Registry of Merit. Since it would
be impossible to list all the great breedings behind
him, we will comment on just those done here at Row-Bar.
A bitch, Ch. Windamere's Evermore, was leased to
breed to our first generation homebred, Ch. Row-Bar's
Victim of Love CD. This produced six smooth champions,
including two top-ten winners. Ch. Row-Bar's Best
O'My Love CD, one of the top-ten dogs, was bred to
Ch. Cinderella's Hit the Road. In one litter there
were three smooth champions, including Ch. Kimberee's
On the Road Again ROM, who became the new foundation
bitch for Kimberee Collies. Two rough champions finished
from this litter, including Ch. Row-Bar's Mar-K Bourbon
Street. She was bred to the great Ch. Foxbrides McLaughlan
ROM, which produced the number one Collie, Ch. Row-Bar's
Southern Exposure CD, Monique.
Monique's record included several BISS wins, 196
BOV, and 70 group placements, including 13 group firsts,
and a CCA Award of Merit. Monique was then bred to
the beautiful, top winning, Ch. Countryview Golden
Starr. This breeding produced two rough champion bitches
and three smooth champion males, including Clayton
and his younger brother, Ch. Row-Bar's Northern Exposure,
"Lance."
