San Diego Collie Club celebrated much success at its shows under a bright sunny sky in Carlsbad, California. The day saw a nice entry, lots of spectators, few absentees, major points, super judges, wonderful camaraderie between exhibitors and great support of Collie Rescue (CR). The celebration included a ring full of adopted collies with their proud owners in a CR Parade, delicious home made chili with complimentary cake and an up-beat memorial tribute to our friend, Kathy Parker. The CR raffle/silent auction items fully covered four banquet tables, resulting in donations of over $1,600 for Southland Collie Rescue. It was a grand day for collies in many ways!
