Hosted by the Collie Club of Southern Ohio

The first Kem was held in 1958 and was hosted by the Indiana Collie Club. It was first designed so that the Collie Clubs in the Tri State Area (Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio) could host the Kem on a yearly rotation.

The Kem is one of the oldest Collie Sweepstakes and the only one that requires the judge to be an AKC licensed judge. Below we have the results from the 2005 Kem plus the Kem Sweepstakes Honor Roll.

Best In Sweepstakes at the Kem Memorial Sweepstakes in 2005 was the 9-12 month tri rough bitch, Overland Signature Design. She was bred by Marcy and Mike Fine and is owned by Jennifer L. Hurst. She is sired by Ch. Highcroft Ultimate Suspense, out of Ch. Overland Summer Shade. She was handled to this win by Jennifer L. Hurst.
